“MY MORPHING LIFE” TO UNLEASH ON CONTV
CONtv, the new on-demand streaming service targeted to Comic Con fans, has announced its third original series with “MY MORPHING LIFE,” helmed by fan favorite television and digital star Jason David Frank (“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”). Based on Frank’s popular YouTube web series, “MY MORPHING LIFE” will be a featured part of CONtv’s original programming slate. The new network from Cinedigm (NASDAQ: CIDM) and Wizard World launched in late February 2015, with the new series set to premiere April 24th.
A Power Ranger for over 20 years, Frank has truly embodied his role as the celebrated and heroic Green Ranger. “MY MORPHING LIFE” follows Frank through his daily adrenaline-fueled antics to give fans a thrilling look inside his base-jumping, high-flying, a-kicking life as he breaks world records, greets fans, raises his daughter and tackles death-defying stunts.
Given the success of the series’ first season (originally titled “My Morphin Life”) on YouTube, Frank has become a new media star in his own right, engaging his loyal fans with regular video vlogs and messaging across YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. With support from Saban Brands, home to the Power Rangers franchise, Season One has generated over 1.5 million views to date. Directed, produced and often times shot by Frank himself, the newly created, action-packed second season will bring 11 new short-form episodes to CONtv.

This new series joins the recently announced originals “LAST FAN STANDING,” a game show hosted and produced by fan-favorite actor Bruce Campbell (The Evil Dead, Army Of Darkness), and the horror-competition series “FIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD,” which follows digital celebrities including Joey Graceffa (4.2 million YouTube subscribers), Jesse and Jeana (PrankvsPrank, 6.9 YouTube subscribers), and Justine Ezarik (iJustine, 2.1 million YouTube subscribers), as they fight to survive the undead’s relentlessly grisly, and frighteningly realistic onslaught through a “real-world” Zombie apocalypse.
