Summary: Antonio enters the Shiba house. He explains that he created his Samurai Morpher from what Jayden had taught him when they were young and by studying the Octozord, and that he had been training himself, but when he figured out how to talk to Octozord with texting, everything fell into place. Antonio says that he is ready to join the team, but Ji keeps hold of his Morpher and tells Antonio that it’s too dangerous out there without the necessary formal training. Jayden tells Antonio that Ji is right, and that they don’t need a sixth Ranger.

Nighlok Steeleto appears scaring humans and is out for revenge on the Rangers for destroying his Nighlok friend Vulpes. The Rangers arrive, but his blades are too much for them. But Steeleto begins to dry out, so he returns to the Sanzu River.

Confronted at the Shiba house, everyone convinces Jayden to allow Antonio to join the team. Jayden gives Antonio his Samurai Morpher back.

Steeleto is destroyed by Red and Gold Rangers’ Barracuda Bite and Blazing Strike finishers, but returns giant. The Rangers combine the Octozord with the Samurai Megazord to form the Octo Spear Megazord and destroy Steeleto.
