Nighloks: The Nighlok monsters are evil spirits that are trapped in the Netherworld and plan to raise the Sanzu River to flood and invade the Earth. They are able to squirm their way into the world to scare and attack the humans, as the humans’ tears cause the Sanzu River to rise. But staying too long causes the Nighlok to begin to dry out, and the Nighlok must return to the Sanzu River to replenish its evil.

After a Nighlok is destroyed, that Nighlok returns as a MegaMonster (giant).
